Tangolera is an Italian shoes brand which was established in 2004 (Bandolera at that time), designing and producing Argentine tango shoes for men and women, of utmost quality and comfort, without stopping, ever since.
Tangolera (former Bandolera) is an Italian shoes brand which was established in 2004 by Pasquale Girardi, dancer and master of Argentine Tango, founder and organizer of the International Tango Fusion Rimini Festival. The first collection of Argentine tango shoes of this footwear manufacturing company was introduced to the customers in 2007 as 'Bandolera Shoes', its success encouraging further development afterwards.
Pasquale and Fabiana Montesi, his dance and life partner as well as a fashion production manager for huge brands, combined their dance floor experience with innovation and creativity and built up the brand Bandolera with passion and dedication.
In 2016 Pasquale withdraw and left the management to Fabiana and Gabriella Battista,also a tango dancer, with experience in management of admin optimization, accounting and finance thus creating an all-female Italian shoes manufacturer company that became famous worldwide for its commitment to create astoundingly beautiful, extremely comfortable and high quality tango shoes.
While they initially started as Bandolera, with two major collections - Tangolera (shoes for Argentine tango) and Salsolera (shoes for Salsa and Latino dancers), in time they have focused more towards the tango shoes niche and rebranded the company as Tangolera Italian Tango Shoes, but still keeping a collection of dedicated shoes for Latino/Salsa named Salsolera. Tangolera thus became Tangolera (ex Bandolera)'s new brand name.
